Beverly Januszewski, Ph.D.

As an experienced Clinical Psychologist, I specialize in psychological and psycho-educational evaluations with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Presenting issues include: emotional issues (depression, mood swings, self-harm, trauma), divorce and parenting issues, school and learning challenges (attention, learning disabilities, test anxiety), social and identity issues, gender diversity, and behavioral problems. Within my evaluations, I strive to assist my clients and their family to fully understand their strengths and challenges, as well as develop a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan.

I have a particular specialty in the assessment of social/emotional aspects of giftedness and twice-exceptionality (2E). Often, intellectual giftedness is masked by inattention, learning disabilities, sensory sensitivities, and/or developmental delays. Properly assessing and diagnosing these issues will uncover true abilities and needs.
