With 34 years of clinical experience, Dr. Davidson specializes primarily with adolescents (mood disorders, adjustment, PTSD). She also focuses on women's issues (mood disorders, PTSD, particularly from sexual trauma, life transitions) and children with disruptive behavior disorders. Dr. Davidson is trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and has as her theoretical orientation a foundation in existential-phenomenological psychology/research with cognitive psychology and other modalities used as tools when indicated. Dr. Davidson uses an holistic approach in her treatment also to address all aspects of the person. Dr. Davidson has experience with a wide range of clients from diverse cultural backgrounds including Native American/Alaskan clients.
